Week two

For this week i narrowed down my protagonist for the thames so that i have one specific protagonist rather than four. Since the theme i chose for the report was birds, i decided to chose one specific bird specie that is on the site. However as group we needed are protagonist to link with each other. Therefore when choosing my protagonist i needed it to have a relationship with the memory dockland, water quality, and vegetation. Due to these factors i decided to chose a wetland bird species that requires water and vegetation as a habitat , but also is a bird species that has history in the UK.

After thorough research, i chose the Moorhen as my protagonist. The reason i chose the Moorhen specifically is due to the requirement of habitat they need. They need fresh water however it must have a soft edge so they can nest.
